It's A Blog Eat Blog World
Hello World,
It's been a minute since I last signed on to this thing, much less post. A good friend of mine said that I should get into the habit of blogging at least once a week. I wasn't too sure what I would blog about each week. I'm kind of a private person when it comes to public affairs. I doubt that people really care about what I ate for breakfast the other day or how I found a dollar in my pocket after doing the laundry. I don't know if an emotional andslashor political public rant is the direction I want to take it either. He agreed and said to leave the drama for someone who cares. Then he asked me, "Well, what's the purpose of your blog?" It's a good question. What do I want my blog to be about?
Is it to showcase my art?
A platform for fame perhaps?
Is it a public diary?
A vehicle for self-promotion?
An open call for stalkers?
A money maker?
An online fan club?
A place to post my poems?
Something to make my mark on the world wide web?
A place for Central Intelligence Agency to collect more information on me?
Alternative news source?
The digital beginning of my autobiography?
Blogger meets Op-Ed?
And the list goes on.
My friend, creator of Ramen Films and filmmaker extraordinnaire, created a blog to promote his film company and keep the fans updated and hungry for more!!
Peep it: http://ramenfilms.blogspot.com/
In less recent news, I wrote a viewpoint for my school's newspaper. I addressed it as, "DEAR DAILY BASTARDS...An open letter to GROSSclose and friends..." but for some reason they edited that part out.
holla,
